Seeking a Digital Analytics Database Administrator adept at supporting a suite of digital products related to Aftermarket parts. The selected individual will ensure the optimal performance of servers and data repositories while emphasizing cost efficiency and data quality. Tasks span from attending stakeholder meetings and server upkeep to role management and troubleshooting product issues. This role entails collaboration with a variety of internal teams, Data Managers, Product Managers, and potentially Senior Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer specialized support for production databases ensuring availability, reliability, and integrity.
- Manage AWS and Linux Server Administration tasks.
- Oversee database and schema establishment, role creation/maintenance, and ensure robust security measures.
- Monitor database expenses, optimize queries, and recommend cost-cutting strategies.
- Handle database replication across various snowflake settings.
- Actively troubleshoot and address database issues, set up system automation alerts, and devise corrective strategies.
- Collaborate with teams to craft code, scripts, and data pipelines using structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Advise Application Engineers on database capabilities, query efficiency, and the utility of database tools.
- Support audits by documenting data use approvals.
- Contribute to shaping and adhering to IT roadmaps.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science/Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years as a Database Administrator.
- Comprehensive understanding of SQL, Python, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, Linux, AWS, and Cloud applications.
- Proficiency in AWS Server Administration.
- Solid experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Over 5 years in database administration, performance optimization, and design.
- Proficiency in programming languages, ideally Python.
- Innovative problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with Aftermarket data.
